Sport Therapy

Our Sport Therapy Services provide you with a fully detailed assessment to reach the cause of your injury and/or pain. It’s important to recognise, every injury is individual, no injury appearing the same. This is taken into account through all our assessments and when devising your bespoke individualised rehabilitation/treatment plan.

Focusing on treatment, rehabilitation, future prevention, injury education and psychological support, we will guide you through the process of getting back to doing what you love!

*Please note these services aren’t just for people who play sport! We can help anyone who may be dealing with any injury/pain.

Initial Assessment

Assessments can be done in person or virtually.

Subjective.

This is the first part of your assessment. We talk about you, the presenting condition, your symptoms, your past medical history, your injury history, when the injury started, time frame, lifestyle and any other relevant questions. We gather all the information needed to help in making a diagnosis.

Objective.

Once the subjective information has been gathered be move onto your objective assessment. This involved checking your movement patterns, range of motion, strength testing and special tests to help in diagnosing your injury and pain. We can use all of this information to discuss and devise the treatment and rehabilitation plan going forward.
